Our story

From the ground up — more than ten years in construction

I began my journey as a carpenter and joiner, then moved into management, building an understanding of how buildings are sequenced, how trades hand work over, and where quality is won or lost long before handover.

Over time I moved into broader responsibility: coordinating programmes, managing subcontractors, and running live environments where deadlines and standards are non-negotiable. The next step was a natural one: taking direct ownership of work, building a trusted network of skilled operatives, and standing personally behind every package the business takes on.

The director

Tautvydas Matulis

Today he leads T Matulis Ltd as founder and director, with direct accountability for quality, programme, client communication, and how work is planned, delivered, and signed off.

The focus is unchanged from larger schemes: protect the specification, respect the programme, and leave finishes that survive scrutiny at handover. That applies equally to commercial packages and to private refurbishments where discretion and clarity matter as much as the craft.
